So, it’s been one week with no Coke for me. Those of you who know me think I’m crazy. Like 9 days with only coffee caffine, I’m drinking water like a guppie.

Sorry. Not just to the band, but to you as well.

But its true. I used to drink Coke, then Diet Coke, like it was water. Couldn’t function without it. Had to have at least two in the morning, some with lunch, and an occassional one in the afternoon if I was feeling the need. Earlier, I drank even more of the stuff.

Suddenly last week it all came to a crashing halt. I had just opened a Diet Coke, tasted it, and thought - well, that isn’t so good… too much carbonation, too sweet, just not good. And that was it. I had water with lunch, then tried another Diet Coke after lunch and couldn’t get it down.

So I stopped. Cold turkey. I knew I could quit whenever I wanted.

Its very… strange, though. I’ve always wanted Coke. Now, when I think about getting something to drink, I think I should want one, but I just don’t. And I don’t even try.

So this is me, off Coke. I wonder if there’s a meeting for this sort of thing.

I moved everything again. Just making sure it all works.

Housekeeping: So, here we are back again, trying this bizness out again. Better luck this time, I guess. Moveable Type seems to have allowed me to install it correctly, and I think I have muddled through getting the basics done. I still have to work up to changing the look, but give me time.

Pre-MT archives are here… and may remain there for some time. I’m not sure I want to mess with the whole import thing now, but it is a very cool feature.

By the way, the archive page is kinda how I want all of this to look, so if anyone is looking yet, let me know what you think…
