Update on Nov 21: Cast Still Stinks
Typing with this cast on is still a real pain; I forgive myself the laspe in content. But the world still turns, and a few new things have gone on:
- Dobbs has more teeth! Poor little fella. He had those two on the bottom and now four (4!) are coming in on top all at once. This is one of those things I never thought about until I became a parent - pushing teeth through your gums is painful. Ouch!
- Dobbs is on the move. Not quite crawling, but rolling and, well, getting around these days.. In other Dobbs news, he started using a sippee cup yesterday with his dinner. Progress, people, its all about progress.
- My big work project is over. Mixed emotions here, really. I’ve told several folks its like starting a new job, but one outside consultant who worked with me for the past 18 months said it better: “I feel like I’m leaving camp.”
- Reilly Sings! The kid learns songs in no time, sometimes after a few days. Amazing. Currently his favorites include Dixieland Delight, Take a Chance on Me, and Brian Wilson. We are still occasionally treated to a rendition of Jolene or Chain of Fools, too.
By the way, I do see a trend here (no posts for weeks, then one full of bullet points?), one that I will attempt to buck once the cast is off (if?).
