OK, then. Testing complete. I been interested in using footnotes4 so I played around with one or two solutions and settled on Simon Elvery’s footnote plugin. It looks harder to use than it is. I will say this for the other non-coders - the ” marks in Simon’s explanation are not part of the code needed for this to work.
