Sometimes you’re the windshield
Sometimes you’re the bug
And sometimes, there’s just no telling.

So, too, is being an American. At least at the heart of it. Mark Kelly delivers a simple, elegant, and forceful statement about what it means to be a Christian and an American. Also featuring Stephen Colbert, so that’s all good.
Still playing around with the WordPress Blackberry app… Its a very slimmed-down UI, which makes complete sense, I just wish linking was easier. When I tried to insert a link in the previous post, I meed with it a bit and then gave up. Today, I tried old-school mark-up (!) and thank God the app recognized what I wanted before I slaughtered the HTML.
So, this is a link. Precious, I know.
Sweet – How to take apart your Blackberry Curve. The boys cracked the faceplate on Mary Reed’s almost a year ago, and since then I had one go bad on me at work, so have some spare parts available. Now all I need is a t6.
In an effort to provide some content, I posted a few revised entries tonite. Enjoy.
Add this comment to the signs that I’m getting older: When I was in high school, $10 worth of gas in my Dad’s Datsun 210, and later the Toyota Corolla, held me for weeks. In college, I could fill up my Nissan Sentra1 or Honda Civic on the first of the month and not worry about gas again for the rest of the month2, road-trips aside.
This morning, I stopped to put some gas in my Trooper; and I wondered how far $103 would go. Less than a quarter of a tank, it turns out; which should roughly translate into about 80 or so miles. Hopefully enough for the week.
I think that people who say they like green tea must be lying. It is terrible.
How the hell are you supposed to make up bunk beds? For the love!
I don’t know if I buy into the theory that hot toddys combat colds, but that won’t stop me from indulging from time to time.
